Appalachian Stewardship Foundation (ASF) is a nonprofit organization that helps mitigate and remedy the devastating impacts of energy development across Appalachia. ASF's vision is for environmental values to lead our energy future: clean streams, clear skies and a stable climate, with the least amount of energy necessary to provide the goods and services we need. ASF seeks to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to protect freshwater sources against the effects of pollution from energy development and use. ASF educates communities about the damage caused by energy development and supports environmental projects that help restore clean air and water.
